Houston's Biggest Homebrew Party is happening Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the Bay Area Community Center.
Same Location, New Date and time. This is not your father's Rendezbrew. The Bay Area Community Center is in Clear Lake Park. It will be on Saturday night July 21st to give you an extra day to recover from all of the fun that is Lunar Rendezbrew. Check out the Rendezbrew page for all of the details. If you have not been to a Lunar Rendezbrew Party yet, you really have missed a good time. This is not your typical Homebrew Competition. All entries will be judged before the Party. So like any other Homebrew event, there will be plenty of beer talk, the event is really more about having fun and enjoying good beer, good food, good music, good company, and more good beer. Go to the Lunar Rendezbrew page for all of the information about food, bands, etc. Admission to the event is $15 for adults and $8 for kids under 12. Food and beverages are free with your ticket. Buy your Rendezbrew tickets and gear and pay for your entries online using Pay Pal. Don't have a Pay Pal account? Don't worry, you can use your regular credit card. Our shopping page has all of the details. New Home Made Soda Contest: Bring a keg or 2 liter bottle of your best home made soda for our home made soda competition. All of the kids will be given a ticket to place in the jar for the soda they like the best. Homebrew Competition Come Join the Bay Area Mashtronauts and other Houston Area Homebrew Clubs for the 14th annual Lunar Rendezbrew Homebrew Competition. This year's competition includes beer, meads, ciders, wine, and liqueurs. Think you have what it takes to take a medal at this year's Rendezbrew. This year will be the best yet. Lunar Rendezbrew is part of the newly formed Lone Star Circuit. We are expecting entries from all parts of Texas and the Gulf Coast region. Entries are due by June 30th! All entries must be dropped off before June 30th at 3:00 PM at Defalco's, The Brew Stop, Brew It Yourself, and B&S Brewer's Guild. You can also drop off your entries July 30th between Noon and 3:00 PM at Molly's Clearlake. Check the Drop Off Location page for all of the details. Entries will be $7 per entry for online entries (works best with I.E.) and $8 if you send a paper entry and make us type in all of your information. For all wine and liqueurs entries, please use a paper entry form. All wine and liqueur entries are $7. Judging We need judges for our competition. Judging will be held Saturday, July 7th, at the Seabrook Community Center and Sunday, July 15th at the Seabrook Community Center. Judging this year will be the best yet. No more smoky, dimly lit bars, we will be hosting the judging at former home of Lunar Rendezbrew. Also this year Lunch will be provided on July 7th.
